    I come from a family of top chefs. The one thing they all had in common was the ability to speak French. I would guess you needed the same for your qualifications. Getting a job there may require you to be fluent in French. Afterall, if a Frenchman moved to your country, he would be expected to speak your language. So, if you are good enough, that may be the criteria!
